Adding another accolade to its name, Guru Nanak International Public School, I-Block, B.R.S. Nagar, has claimed the top spot at the LSSC Central Zone Dance Competition. The event, hosted at Greenland Sr. Sec. Public School on the Jalandhar Bypass, featured talented dancers from various schools across the region. The GNIPS I-Block dance team captivated the judges and audience with their energetic and creative performance, outshining the competition to secure the coveted first position.
Punjabi declamation contest was organised by Ludhiana Sahodaya School Complex( LSSC) at GMT International Public school on 25-05-2023 in which 15 teams participated. In that context, two students Naman Pal Singh of class 10th and Brahmleen Kaur of Class IX from our school also participated. Brahmleen Kaur won second prize in that competition and also got overall trophy. School Principal Mrs. Kamalvir Kaur congratulated the winners and wish them success in future endeavours.
Two outstanding sportspersons have been honoured with the FAP National Awards for their excellence and dedication in sports. Harleen Kaur, an international Karate player, earned recognition for her exceptional performances at global platforms. Tanmay Joshi, a national Kickboxing player, was awarded for his remarkable achievements and strong sportsmanship. Their success is a proud reflection of hard work, talent and commitment.

Education is incomplete without sports. Besides keeping the students fit, sports also inculcate in them the qualities of honesty, team spirit, co-operation, tolerance, true sportsmanship, punctuality and discipline. The school has an extensive play- ground where students play games like Foot-ball, Kho-kho and Volley-ball etc. Many students have brought laurels to the school by excelling in games and Athletics. The students have represented the school in Zonal, District and State levels. Besides the regular Physical Training Periods, coaching is also provided during morning and evening hours.
At GNIPS special emphasis is laid on the games like Athletics, Football, Wushu, and Skating. Our students exhibited commendable performances in the Ludhiana Sahodaya School Complex Athletics Tournament (2024-25), securing the Overall Trophy. Equally noteworthy were the achievements of our Wushu players, who distinguished themselves by winning prizes at both the district and state levels.
