Under the aegis of the CBSE-Centre of Excellence, Guru Nanak International Public School, Ludhiana organised a two-day Capacity Building Programme for all the teachers on 18th Sept’2019. The resource person was Ms. Anjali Singh who updated pedagogical skills, delivery mechanism and other professional qualities of the attendees.
She laid emphasis on the role of teachers in school. She said teachers in today’s time needed to make teaching methods flexible with the ever-evolving educational goals and deal with infinite variations in students with patience.
The first day event commenced with an ice-breaker session. The maiden session focussed on special objectives of reading and ways of attaining confidence and grip over comprehension skills. Teachers got a hands-on experience in solving various worksheets. Useful handouts related to writing and literature section were also distributed. Various activities, video clippings and group discussions made the session more effective.
Mrs. Bhupinderjit Kaur Bedi, principal of the host school, highlighted the objectives of the programme. She said the workshop gave an opportunity to teachers to learn various aspects of comprehension and writing skills.
