Kids’ party was organized on 22nd May’2019 in the school premises which witnessed gigantic participation by the students of classes Nursery to Fifth. Numerous pools and swings like swimming pools, Manual rides, Inflatables, Zorb Ball, Boating, Rain dance with music were arranged for them. The kids enjoyed the day with fun filled activities.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
Keeping the spirit of student’s alive, GNIPS organized yoga session for students of classes of middle section took part in the session. The students were taught ample of Asana starting with warming up and stretching followed by series of Tadasana, Trikonasana, Vrikshasana, Nayasana, Ushtasana, Bhujangasan, Shashakasana and ending was with Padotanasana.
Festivity and vibrancy were witnessed at GNIPS, I-Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana, as the festival of Teej was celebrated with great cultural and aesthetic gaiety. Tiny tots and juveniles were dressed in vibrant hues. The stage was decorated with traditional articles. A cultural fest was put forth, during which the students performed cultural events like Giddha and Bhangra on the beats of Punjabi music.
GNIPS, I-Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana hosted an event ‘Quiz-Fizz-2019-20’ which was organised under ‘Hub Of Learning’ on 23rd October,2019. In this event six schools participated including the host school. The Quiz was divided into five rounds i.e. General Awareness, Visual Round, Take your chance, Audio Round and Rapid fire Round. It was a cut throat competition and all the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Lohri is one of the famous Punjabi festival which marks the culmination of winters. It was celebrated in Guru Nanak International Public School, I-Block, BRS Nagar on Friday i.e.10th Jan 2020 to engage all in revelry and to make this day feel really great and joyful.
L.S.S.C. ENGLISH DECLAMATION CONTEST
L.S.S.C. English Declamation 2020 was held on 29th January 2020 at GNIPS school, I-Block, Ludhiana. The contest commenced with the name of almighty “Shabad”. The students were given the topics like ‘Immigration is no longer a solution, it’s a defeat”, “Safety of Women is the need of hour” etc. the dynamic participation mesmerized the audience.
JUNIORS' ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET
The much awaited Junior Annual Athletic Meet of GNIPS School, I-Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana was held in the school campus, entitled as “Jumping Jacks and Jazzy Jills”. It was an event of great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
ELECTION MODEL POLLING BOOTH
GNIPS was selected as Model Polling Booth on May 19,2019 (064-Ludhiana West) for Lok-Sabha Election 2019.The school facilitates all the mandatory requirements that are Chairs for rest, Wheel chairs. School volunteers for helping the voters to find their right polling stations, health kits, first aid, waiting area and creche facilities for kids. Cold drinking water facility was also there to calm the scorching heat.
ECO-FRIENDLY CLUB ACTIVITY
The GNIPS family as a whole celebrated the world environment day on 26th July’2019 with full vigour and enthusiasm by Eco Friendly Club. The main aim of observing this day was to change our attitude towards environment and guided each one to ensure a safe future. The program started with an influential speech on the effects of global warming and the importance of flora and fauna in our lives by the School Principal Mrs. Bhupinderjit Bedi.
TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION
Teachers’ day is being celebrated across India on September 05th to honour Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan on his 131st birth anniversary. GNIPS solemnly celebrated Teachers’ day with great gusts and gaiety.
The 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji was celebrated with great zeal and fervour in the premises of Guru Nanak International Public School, I-Block, BRS Nagar on 9th Nov’2019. The celebrations started with 51 paths of Japuji Sahib, followed by Sakhis, Shabads, Speeches and poems recited by the students.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
Republic Day was celebrated in Guru Nanak International Public School, I-Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana on 25th Jan’2020 with great reverence. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children danced to the tunes of patriotism, enacted skits, sang patriotic songs and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. GNIPS celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and made this monumental day, a memorable one.
FAREWELL PARTY FOR CLASS XII
The customary farewell for the outgoing batch of class 12 was held at GNIPS, I-Block, BRS Nagar by the students and teachers of class 11 on 1st Feb’2020. Nostalgia hung heavy in the air as the students of class 11 gathered to bid adieu to their dear seniors. Preparations for the event had begun earlier in the month and the bustle was evident even on the appointed day. The juniors were extremely keen to put up their best and left no stone unturned for a great show.
