Annual Sports Day - 2018

On 24th December 2018, Guru Nanak International Public School hosted its 19th Annual Sports Meet, a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The Principal of the school Mrs. Bhupinderjit Bedi took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students.

The children entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with oath being administrated by the sports captain. The school Principal declared the "Annual Athletic Meet" open. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tones of encouragement for the young athletes.

Students of Classes I to V competed in events including Obstacle race, Lemon and spoon race, back race and sack race. The students of Classes VI to IX challenged themselves to attempt variety of races and events such as 200m obstacle race, sack race, relay race, shot-put and Long Jump. The young achievers were awarded with the medals-Gold, Silver and Bronze. Mrs. Bedi highly applauded the visionary element of the school which nurture and develops their potential in the sport field.

It was a day filed with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The Director Mrs. Kohli and Principal Mrs. Bedi thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised the children to keep up their sportsman spirit. The meet was declared closed by Mrs. Bedi.

Alifia khan of class VIII, Aryan of Class VI, Akash of Class IV and Khushi of class V were declared as Best Athlete in senior Category and junior category respectively.
